Spring Kisses
Created with acrylic paint on canvas, this painting evokes blooming, the coming of spring and new growth, and petals gently floating in the breeze. I built up many layers of acrylic paint to create a background with soft shadows and depth, leaving enough negative space to allow the abstract blooms to subtly shine. Purposeful drips evoke spring rain and nourishment. I feel beauty from nature can always be found, and this painting represents the return to a beautiful season, in nature and in life.
