Gaia and Mother at the Crossing

This charcoal drawing represents matriarchy and its power and protection. Once again referencing myth and Gaia, the earth and mother of all, actively protecting a herd of African elephants. The scale of all of the characters is utterly intentional and Gaia represented as a young woman to speak to the oversized role of humanity in the destiny of our planet. Will be stewards or destroyers/
